Bill Blackman

Bill started ministry at the age of 21 as a youth pastor in Burnaby BC.  During that time completed his BA in Biblical Studies at Trinity Western University in Langley BC.  Seven years later Bill and his wife Debra left BC and entered the Salvation Army’s Training College (Seminary) and were ordained as Officers (pastors) two years later.  Bill and Debra moved to Milton Ontario, where they planted a church, ran The Salvation Army’s social work, and started their family with the Birth of Liam in 2006 and Micah in 2009.  In 2010 The Salvation Army moved them back to BC to take the leadership of the Willows community church, where they continue to minister.  They also were blessed with the birth of Hudson in January of 2011.

“What has been amazing about my journey in ministry so far is watching God lead me through every aspect of my life, bringing together people and experiences from my past to help with current situations and leadership needs, I believe God has significant plans for the Willows over the next Decade and I am excited to be a part of it”.
